And I just realized that Reddit/apple also doesn't have a category for Apple monitors, I mean it even has one for Apple polishing cloth. The lack of knowledge on Studio Display from the Apple team just made me speechless.Īnd when I asked them how do I add Studio Display to My Devices list so I can look at them at once, and he also didn't know the answer.Īpple help page lets you select what do you need help on, and you can't even find the Monitor section on it.

So now I gotta wait for them to call me or email me with the final answer. The 2nd one had to transfer me to a phone call agent who transferred me to a senior advisor who had to let me make screenshots and have them sent to the engineering team because he himself is not even sure if this is a normal behavior or not. I've contacted Apple, the first chat agent thought it was my Macbook Pro's problem, we did the whole reset and stuff, didn't work. The external keyboard does control volume and screen brightness.Other than the default Apple Display(P3-600 nits), all other presets have brightness locked in an unusable level, way too dark. One person claims to have resolved this issue saying the hardware connections needed to be reseated.Ħ. There was a similar issue reported with 10.12, however I was not affected by it. They wanted me to send it in for repairs, however I doubt a software install caused physical damage to my MacBook Pro.ĥ. (I did mention that this is in the forums and was originally reported on the developer forums back in June.)Ĥ. They told me they were going to report it. I spoke with 2 AppleCare Representatives and neither had even heard of the issue before. You can still adjust the brightness using Settings > Displays > BrightnessĢ. Since upgrading to High Sierra Mac OS 10.13.2 I have not been able to adjust the screen brightness or volume via my MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch Mid 2014's keyboard.ġ.
